The Jersey Chefs Circle Team returned from the BritishOpen Cookery Championships 2001 at the NEC in Birmingham, with a substantial number of awards. The Team, captained by David Inwood
won a total of 15 awards from the 19 Classes entered. These include Gold First in Class, Silver First in Class, Silver, several Bronze Medals and Certificates of Merit. Team Manager Desmond Dunne commented that
competeing at this level of International Competition is always difficult and that to win this many awards was very satisfying.
