Lentil and Curry Soup
David Cameron, Cafe Arts and Crafts

Ingredients

250g Red Lentil
2 Carrots,chopped
1/2 ltr Chicken Stock
300ml Whipping Cream
2 tsp Curry Powder
100g Butter

Melt the butter and cook the onions and carrots until soft
Add lentils and curry powder
Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat
Add stock, bring to the boil, simmer until the lentils are cooked
Puree the soup, add cream and season, Bring back to the boil, simmer for 2 minutes and serve
